Having worn many hats, Tracy McNally, aka Coogs, has a few tales to tell, most of them too loud and about inappropriate things. In 2018, she donned the spoken word hat and, finding it rather suited her, has staunchly refused to take it off ever since. Tracy is a three-time state finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam competition and regularly features across Adelaide’s open mic poetry scene. She wears her spoken word hat tilted at a jaunty angle while serving dark humour and brutal honesty. Giving voice to shared insecurities and inconvenient truths, Tracy explores influences in her life such as motherhood and mental illness.
