Caroline Reid at Spoke N Slurred

Sunday, 30th September, 2018
5:30 – 9:00 pm

Brick City Bar
73 Grenfell Street, Adelaide

Caroline Reid grew up in Kalgoorlie, WA. Highlights include managing to avoid falling down disused mine shafts, being taught how to play guitar by Kevin Bloody Wilson and writing a poem for a competition in the local rag, The Kalgoorlie Miner. The poem wasn’t published but gave her a taste for poetry over songs with a fuck-ton of swearing in them. When she’s not writing, she wanders the streets of Cowandilla in the shade of her pink and green umbrella, and looks forward to suffering hearing loss as a result of living in the flight path.

Caroline recently was runner up in the SA Poetry Slam and will be representing SA at the Australian Poetry Slam at the Sydney Opera House!!
