Amelia Walker is a poet who lives and works on Kaurna Yerta, also known as Adelaide, South Australia. She has published five poetry collections, most recently alogopoesis, and three books of poetry writing activities for educational and community settings, based on her work as a poet in schools and with arts-health projects. She currently lectures in courses on poetry, short fiction, and literary studies at the University of South Australia, and is contracted with Bloomsbury for a forthcoming academic book about creative writing’s interconnections with social power.
